Ithala collaboration with Lion Match brought joy to the Learners of Dendethu Primary school in Mandeni. This formed part of a Ithala’s stakeholder engagement interventions with Amakhosi and Traditional Leaders in areas where Ithala operates.
The school and need for support was identified and nominated by Inkosi Mathonsi of Mathonsi Traditional Council.
A total of 150 learners received new school shoes and polish.
Sanitary towels were also donated to the school in an effort to ensure that no girl child stays at home due to lack of adequate sanitary towels as this impacts negatively on their learning progress.
